China Rouge at Galaxy Macau™

Here the haughty decadence of a bygone era—replete with its unique version of Art Deco and the unprecedented wealth and sophistication of this most thriving period of Chinese history—are updated with a Galaxy Macau™ approach to elegance and glamour.

Alan Chan

China Rouge is the brainchild of legendary Hong Kong artist/designer Alan Chan, one of the few Hong Kong-trained graphic designers to have achieved widespread international recognition. Alan’s creativity has impressed companies and clients throughout the region and beyond. His recent projects include work for internationally renowned brands like Four Seasons Hotel HK, Mandarin Oriental Spa Worldwide, Mandarin Oriental HK, Hong Kong International Airport, Forevermark, Salvatore Ferragamo, Hugo Boss and Grand Hyatt.

His work has been continuously sought among marketers across China, and he recently completed an assignment to develop a new logotype for Coca-Cola in China. He has also been called upon to design the visual identity and interior for the Three On The Bund project in Shanghai as well as the National Centre for Performing Arts in Beijing among many others. During his four decades in advertising and design, he and his company have won more than 600 local and international awards. In 1989 Alan was named “Designer of the Year” by the Hong Kong Artist Guild. His company was selected by the Graphis Press in New York as one of the Graphis Ten Best design firms on the planet.
